If I were a bottle of Rogue, I would be
the Chocolate Stout...
but wait, I am! Since late 2000 I've been the face on this award winning beer, brewed in Newport, Oregon by Rogue Ales.
These are my musings about how to drink this elixir, as well as notes on pairing it with different foods, and cooking with Rogue Chocolate Stout...so share your experiences and recipes, and join me for the journey!

Gilt Taste showcases Valerie Confections Chocolate Stout Truffles made with Rogue Ales
Online gourmet retailer Gilt Taste is selling Valerie Confections Scotch & Stout Truffles infused with 10yr old Macallan Scotch as well as Rogue Chocolate Stout -- the gift box includes 10 pieces of each (note, the photo is different quantity than the Gilt Taste gift box.)
Thanks to Los Angelenos Valerie Gordon and Stan Weightman Jr. of Valerie Confections for using Rogue Chocolate Stout, and the folks at Gilt Taste, an interactive magazine and online market, for showcasing this!
...a craft brewery in Newport, Oregon calls me "A Rogue Original"...that's what the bottle of Rogue Chocolate Stout says. I consider myself a Rogue Advocate, promoting the Rogue Ales/Lagers/Spirits, networking with and promoting other Rogues I've crossed paths with who have inspired me (say cheese! got chocolate?) Reach out & drop a note to seb at rogue (dot com) or roguechocolatestout at gmail (dot com). Rogue Chocolate Stout is available in 22oz bottles and 13.2 gallon sankey kegs, brewed on the Oregon Coast, available wherever Rogue Ales are sold...join me for the journey!
